What Happened When a Little Girl Asked If She Could Join Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

At the recent Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego, a sweet moment between a young fan and one of the cast members warmed the audience members' hearts.

When it came time for questions and answers, a little girl named Amelia asked, "I'm wondering if you have space for an 8-year-old?" Marvel head of television Jeff Loeb said, "Sure," but then Clark Gregg — who plays lead agent Phil Coulson — chimed in.

He said that anyone can run S.H.I.E.L.D., including strong women, and added, "Just from the few moments we've spent with you today, I feel that someday you could run S.H.I.E.L.D."

Now that's an answer she'll probably never forget.
