If you spend all day on Snapchat, prepare for the total inability to escape the app — another fun update is here. The company announced new, intriguing updates to its chat service aimed at making it easier for people to communicate on its platform. Chat 2.0, as it's labeled by Snapchat, includes one-tap video and audio calls, the ability to just listen or watch your friend on chat, and a new sticker-sending option. Snapchat's goal with this update is to make people feel like they are in person with one another, even when they're not. The update rolls out today to iOS and Android.
Snapchat also improved other features with this release; stories are easier to watch with the introduction of the autoadvance tool. When you've watched one story, it automatically jumps to the next story in your feed. If you love the hilarious lenses feature, you're sure to be pleased with these new capabilities as well. Check out photos ahead to see how use all these fun, new features!
