Emma Glassman-Hughes

Former Associate Editor, Balance

Emma Glassman-Hughes (she/her) is a former associate editor at PS Balance. In her seven years as a reporter, her beats have spanned the lifestyle spectrum; she's covered arts and culture for The Boston Globe, sex and relationships for Cosmopolitan, and food, climate, and farming for Ambrook Research. In her three years as a founding editor of Here Magazine, a multiplatform travel and culture outlet, she could be found reporting from around the globe, interviewing beekeepers in Ugandan rainforests or vintners in southern Australia. She holds communications degrees from Boston University and Emerson College as well as a deep-seated belief that a Bloody Mary is an anytime beverage, not just for brunch. Emma is bicoastal, bisexual, and loves a good bivalve. (Oysters are an anytime snack.)
