Suzie Hodges is a freelance writer drawn to stories in outdoor and action sports, environmental conservation, and science. In addition to PS, her work has appeared in Atlas Obscura, Blue Ridge Outdoors, Smithsonian magazine, and The Daily Beast. Previously, she was a writer at an environmental conservation organization called Rare and at the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech. She earned a master's degree in magazine writing from New York University in 2013.
