Brenda Barrientos is a Peruvian American journalist and social strategist with more than seven years of experience. Most recently, she spearheaded social strategy for Refinery29's Latine cross-platform channel, Somos. She joined Refinery29 from People en Español, where she led audience development and social programming for People Chica, a sub-brand focused on Latina millennials. In addition to her work in social media, Brenda writes about music and culture, with a particular focus on Latine creators.
