I’m Julie, the voice behind the lifestyle blog filled with do-it-yourself inspiration for effortless entertaining, home design and thoughtful gift-giving.I began sharing my effortless style of entertaining through this blog in 2008. Prior to, I planned countless weddings, lavish events and intimate parties for clients through Coordinately Yours, the event planning business I founded in 2002.Growing up as a quintessential Midwestern girl in St. Louis, I spent countless hours on my grandmother’s farm, crafting and baking. After working for a catering company during college, my love for creating recipes and beautiful food was born. My passion for event styling combined with that love for baking and cooking, led me to open my event planning business directly out of college.After years in the event industry, I turned my signature style into a lifestyle blog with a collection of recipes, home design, and entertaining advice. I have designed our home with a a soft, neutral interior to reflect the love of our family and intimate gatherings, allowing those in it to be the color.Join me in my journey of celebrating life’s little moments, living simply, and finding beauty in each detail and imperfection.
