How to Use the NARS Orgasm Product Line

1 MUA Explains 5 Ways the NARS Orgasm Collection Will Rock Your Beauty World

Calling all beauty junkies! We've partnered with NARS Cosmetics to show you the different ways the brand's cult favorite Orgasm collection can be incorporated into your everyday makeup routine.

Want to craft a beauty kit worthy of backstage at Fashion Week? Or perhaps you want your makeup bag to replicate your favorite YouTuber's latest video tutorial? Then there are a few essential products you need, ASAP. At the very top of that list is the NARS Blush in Orgasm. This peachy, pink blush with the memorable name can be found in the kits of professional makeup artists everywhere, including NARS Senior Makeup Artist Niko Lopez. "It's one of the most popularly used blushes because of its unique ability to adjust to almost every skintone," explained Niko. "The mixture of pink and peach blends seamlessly on lighter skintones, while the gold flecks really pop against a darker skin complexion."

Not convinced yet? Lucky for you, NARS has released an entire collection of Orgasm products — one of which Niko said will be the perfect gateway product to add to your bag. We wanted to know how all these products can be worn together or separately for a complete beauty look, so we enlisted Niko's help. Below, see the five unique ways Niko recommends using the entire Orgasm collection to achieve maximum glow.

If you want an all-over glistening glow, Niko suggest adding a touch of the NARS Illuminating Loose Powder to your moisturizer for a subtle shine before layering your favorite tinted moisturizer on top. Plus, the real secret is finishing off your look with a natural, juicy pout, because nothing ruins a dewy look like dry, naked lips. The NARS Afterglow Lip Balm has a slight tint to help enhance your natural lip color, and the end result is dewy and plump lip that helps your overall look appear more radiant.

We are all about updating our contour game, so when Niko said he had the perfect formula for a sculpted cheek, we were intrigued. Apparently, it's all about the layers. After applying your bronzer to the contours of your cheeks (Niko suggests NARS Laguna Bronzing Powder, in case you were interested), set it with a powder, but avoid the tops of your cheekbones. Then, layer your Limited Edition Oversized NARS Orgasm Blush on the apples of your cheeks and sandwich it with a sweep of illuminating powder on the tops of your cheekbones for a radiant effect.

Niko said it's important not to powder the area where you're placing your blush and highlighter because you want to get the full, glowing benefits of the products.

Elevate your entire look even further with a monochromatic finish. Niko suggests using the NARS Orgasm Multiple stick for a touch of color on your lids and brow bone. Then, take your shadow brush and pack on the color for an even more intense pigment. Next, highlight your brow bone with a touch of the NARS Orgasm Illuminating Loose Powder. The peach, pink, and gold pigments add a pretty, light-reflective quality to your eye makeup. Define the overall look with a few coats of NARS Audacious Mascara in Black on your top and bottom lashes.

According to Niko, your makeup doesn't stop at your face. For a subtle body shine, mix the NARS Illuminating Loose powder with your body lotion. Warm the mixture in the palms of your hands before applying to your shoulders, forearms, and the backs of your hands. Niko said to avoid the areas where you're wearing clothing, but that it's important to highlight all the areas with visible skin. And if you're not afraid of being too extra, Niko suggests grabbing a brush and applying the loose powder over any high points of your body.

The biggest news for 2018? Gloss is back. Niko is all about the Limited Edition NARS Orgasm Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer for a truly elevated take on this favorite trend. The applicator is dual sided, so the plush side glides the products across the lips, while the spatula side helps smooth out product and create that high-shine lacquer finish. Bonus tip: Niko said you can add illuminating powder right at your cupid's bow for even more highlight.
