Ralph Lauren's New Romance Fragrance Is Actually Edgy

Don't let the pastel pink bottle fool you — Ralph Lauren's newest fragrance, Midnight Romance ($52-$94), is hardly for little girls. The sensual scent contains notes of pink peony mixed with black vanilla, giving it a sexy-sweet floral musk. While it sort of reminds me of the perfumes of my childhood, Midnight Romance definitely has the sophistication and elegance to it that you'd expect of a Ralph Lauren fragrance. One spritz on my wrists, and I instantly felt ready for some after-dark fun in a decidedly unchildlike way.
