Recently, models made their way down runways at Berlin Fashion Week with small star sequins on their lips. As lovers of all things sparkly and whimsical, we're pleased to see that this trend has migrated to Paris — and to the eye area.

At Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the creative and image director of Dior Makeup, Peter Philips, used tiny stellar glitter as part of the pre-Raphaelite-esque beauty look at the Dior show. "I created several variations to personalize each girl," he explained. "In one look, the glitter was applied in a 'stardust' shower on the cheekbones swept up towards the temples." (This creation made the model appear as if she had beautiful, glimmering freckles.)

He went on, "Then I also chose the metallic purity of a single, bigger, more 'rebel attitude' star placed either on the inner corner of each eye or at the center of the lower lid." This edgier take made eyes appear doll-like due to the star's sparkling reflection close to the whites of the eye. Each model wore DiorBlush Vibrant Colour Powder Blush in #756 Rose Cherie ($44), a shimmering peach, to enhance their ethereal luminosity.

If you take a look at the Dior catwalk, you'll see a forest not unlike the one portrayed in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Overall, the models' beauty was just as fantastical as the play and had fairy-like qualities other than the star glitter, including headdresses made from flowers, feathers, and other natural elements.

Though Phillips did not disclose the type of glitter he used on his models, you can find similarly sized tiny star sparkles from Etsy ($1). Be sure to stock up on a few packets, because once you see how magical the following looks are, you'll want to re-create them ASAP (perhaps for a music festival?). Read on to see for yourself.
