Favorite Halloween Makeup Look: "It's been awhile since I've done Halloween makeup specifically because I'm usually working on set, but I love Tiffany's looks from the MTV Movie and TV Awards. They would work Halloween because there's such a trend right now in making majestic, ghoulish, or demonic themes look sexy. The key is to do a full beauty face then add in the special effects after."

Best Halloween Beauty Advice: "Special effects products will not stay if oil is present, so I avoid anything with oil in it on the skin. The makeup simply will not hold."

"Foundations have evolved so much in the past years. The theatrical or Halloween specific ones to use would be William Tuttle Creme Foundation in Cafe Ole ($18) or Ben Nye. Cosmetics brands that I know have great foundations with staying power are Tom Ford, Huda Beauty, and Black Up."

"There are a few staple products that not a lot of people know about for special effects that I use, like the Ben Nye Mass Casualty Simulated Blood Powder ($22), which you activate by spraying with water. Or you can buy 'eyeblood' — drops specifically for the eyes to give them that bleeding look."

So I would invest in real cosmetics, and don't just pick up face paint from the drugstores. When you're a kid it's okay to do a little bit of that, but even then, it's a little weird. I'm so sensitive that I would probably break out with some hideous rash if I used any of that stuff."

"Ben Nye was a famous Hollywood makeup artist, and there's this old-school Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer ($18) product that I've used on water shoots — where people actually dunk their heads in water — and it miraculously doesn't move. It does a good job just holding up Halloween makeup, for sure."

You just take a red lipstick, and then apply a dark brown eyeliner to the corners of your lips to get that contour. Finish with a smoky eye and glossy skin and it looks super modern."

Best Halloween Beauty Advice: "It's Halloween — it's about breaking out of your comfort zone. So do something you normally wouldn't try. Find your alter ego you've always wanted to explore, and do it."

"NARS Powermatte Lip Pigments ($26) are one of my favorite things to use as face paint, because technically they are lip paints. You can also use it on a liquid liner brush and apply it as lip liner for a vampy look."

"Wet 'n' Wild has some really great Halloween pressed glitters, like the Color Icon Glitter Single in Groupie ($1), which I love. You can press it onto the lips and it looks great. I keep them in my kit year-round."

"When you want to do really dramatic or crazy looks, add on eyelashes with spiders or glitter.
