Michelle Phan Wants to End Child Sex Trafficking With Her New Liquid Lipstick

Michelle Phan has millions of fans on YouTube, launched the makeup subscription service Ipsy, and wants to make the world a better place with her Em Cosmetics line. This Valentine's Day, Phan's brand will be adding a new color to the creamy Infinite Lip Clouds line called "Love" while helping an important cause.

Aside from having a bright red-orange hue and ultracomfortable formula, the "Love" lipstick also will help support international human rights organization Love146, which works to combat child trafficking all over the world through education, survivor care, professional training, and advocacy.

Love146 was created after the cofounders of the organization traveled to Southeast Asia with a mission to help prevent child sex trafficking. While undercover with investigators in a brothel, they witnessed a little girl in a red dress wearing the number "146" looking right at them through the one-way glass window. While the founders don't know what happened to the girl, they decided to name the organization in her honor. "Once child sex trafficking survivors are in the care of Love146, often the first things they asked for . . . are for a hairbrush and lipstick. That's why it was so meaningful for EM Cosmetics to partner with this world-changing organization," Phan explained.
