Mimi Ito is the director of the Connected Learning Lab at the University of California Irvine, Co-Founder of Connected Camps, a nonprofit offering online camps and mentoring for kids and a professor in residence at the Donald Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences. She received Ph.D.s in education and anthropology from Stanford University, and is now a cultural anthropologist of technology use.
