Drew Barrymore was her usual radiant self when she hit the red carpet at Godiva's 90th Anniversary event in NYC on Friday night. The newly single actress posed for photos and gave a very carefree, badass hair flip while sporting a black Kate Spade New York dress and carried an Edie Parker box clutch personalized with the names of her two daughters, Olive and Frankie.
Drew's smiley night out comes in the midst of a rather emotional time; since splitting from husband Will Kopelman in April, Drew has kept an open and positive outlook on life. While promoting her new Barrymore Wines Rosé this month, she gave an honest and upbeat interview to POPSUGAR, saying, "I want to put one foot in front of the other." Most recently, during an appearance on Chelsea Handler's new Netflix talk show, Drew called her divorce "so shameful," adding, "It's a hard thing to go through. It's like you're being put on a cheese grater and every second going, 'Ah! This wasn't the plan!'" Despite her heartbreaking admission, Drew's resilience and strength is written all over her face (and in that hair flip).
