This Is What Reese Witherspoon Looks Like in the Very '70s Inherent Vice

Paul Thomas Anderson's next film, Inherent Vice, sports an all-star cast, and we're finally getting a look at them in their roles. The scene is Los Angeles, 1970, and private investigator Doc Sportello (Joaquin Phoenix) is trying to solve the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend. The movie is an adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's popular crime novel — one of several adaptations headed to the big screen — and Reese Witherspoon, Jena Malone, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, and Benicio Del Toro are all costarring. So far, we only have looks at a few of them (we're particularly loving the Walk the Line reunion of Witherspoon and Phoenix), but there's still plenty of time before the film's Christmas release date. Take a look!
