Not many people get to travel to Park City, UT, for the annual Sundance Film Festival, but most everyone has access to streaming services online. A ton of great movies premiered this year, and Netflix and Amazon reps were busy brokering deals that mean we will get to see them ASAP. While Netflix has already acquired streaming rights to the comedy Fun Mom Dinner and the psychological thriller Berlin Festival, they're coming to theaters first. The following 12 movies will debut online, so you can be among the first to see them — without even leaving the house!
After the boom of JonBenét Ramsay TV specials released in the wake of the case's 20th anniversary, Netflix acquired this documentary. Shot over 15 months, the filmmakers conducted interviews in Ramsey's hometown to examine the lasting effect of the cast on its residents. The movie will also get a limited theatrical release, timed to the online premiere.

3I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore
Melanie Lynsky stars in this Netflix original movie, which is already earning rave reviews. Elijah Wood also stars in the dark comedy about a woman who decides she is just done with assh*les.
Amazon picked up this six-part documentary about the Grateful Dead, directed by Amir Bar-Lev.

5Nobody Speak

Remember when Hulk Hogan sued Gawker last year for posting his leaked sex tape? This documentary, which has been purchased by Netflix, follows the case.
Netflix snapped up this post-WWII drama for a showstopping $12.5 million. The plan is to release it in theaters and online simultaneously. Garrett Hedlund, Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Jason Mitchell, Mary J. Blige, Rob Morgan, and Jonathan Banks are the stars.

9The Big Sick

Amazon also paid a steep price for the Michael Showalter-directed comedy The Big Sick: $12 million. Kumail Nanjiani stars in the film, which he cowrote with his wife, Emily V. Gordon (pictured). It's based on their real-life experiences dealing with her mysterious illness. Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, and Ray Romano all costar.
