Bachelor Nation Has Polarizing Feelings About Colton's Premiere, and We Can't Blame It

If there's one thing we appreciate in a season of The Bachelor, it's some delicious drama. And boy did the start of Colton Underwood's season feed us well . . . though it took a while to get there. The three-hour premiere (that's right — it was three hours long) gave us dogs, dancing, drama, and so many virgin jokes. By the way, in case you somehow missed it, Colton went into this season a virgin.

In between meeting Bachelor superfans at several watch parties hosted by former contestants, we met the women vying for Colton's heart, and it was a doozy. They quickly proved that they're not afraid to pull out all the stops for Colton's attention — whether that means dressing up in a sloth costume or faking a charming Australian accent. We can't knock that kind of tactical maneuvering (Bri did get a rose at the end of the night, after all), but it was the rest of the episode that had us refilling our wineglasses. Two women wore the same dress, pageant queens realized they're in competition again — but this time for love — and this season's "villain" made her debut in a very contentious way.

The entire premiere had Bachelor Nation in a tizzy — some loved it, and some . . . didn't — so we've rounded up some of the most relatable reactions that will have you raising your glass in solidarity.
