23 Reasons You Need to Rewatch Double, Double, Toil and Trouble This Halloween

Double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and caldron bubble! This incantation is one of the many epic spells in Double, Double, Toil and Trouble, which quite frankly is one of the most underrated Halloween movies ever.

Everyone has their favorite flick to watch on All Hallows' Eve, like Hocus Pocus or The Nightmare Before Christmas, but we're here to tell you that this Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie is one that should not be missed. With the Olsen twins, it's double the trouble and double the fun.

We know what you're thinking: Double, Double, Toil and Trouble doesn't hold a candle to the classics, but we beg to differ. For starters, there is a creepy witch named Aunt Agatha (played by Cloris Leachman), who is haunting yet totally wonderful as a villain. Next, there is the cast of oddball characters that Kelly and Lynn Farmer (the Olsen twins) befriend along the way that you want to root for, but you're scared to trust.

Lastly, there is the twins-meet-twins storyline that hooks you in from the very beginning and keeps you on the edge of your seat all movie long. Oh, and the one-liners from Kelly and Lynn are so great and their style is so '90s, it's the exact throwback film we always watch this time of year. It's our go-to Halloween flick, and there are 23 reasons it should be yours, too!
