Wake Your Child Up With This Healthy (and Fun!) Breakfast Smoothie

Making mornings less stressful for kids and moms sets everyone up for a successful day. That's why we partnered with DairyPure Brand Milk for this post.

Mornings are an opportunity to start the day fresh with something healthy and filling, especially for little ones. Even if you only have a few minutes you can make a breakfast that features fruits, grains, and dairy. What's even better is you can prep on Sunday afternoons, creating frozen smoothie packs for a week's worth of quick breakfasts that quickly blend with few glugs of milk.

Older kids can get in on the fun and help prep the baggies and mixing up ingredients, which turns breakfast into a flavor exploration. It's a delicious way to start the day while giving your child a boost of protien, fueling their bodies all morning.

Notes

You can swap the nuts in this smoothie recipe for sunflower seeds if your child has a nut allergy, and it will still taste delicious.

    1 banana, sliced
