If you're looking for a delicious snack your kids will love, this is the recipe to make right now. The combination of plain Greek-style yogurt, applesauce, and JELL-O strawberry-flavored gelatin combines into a bright bite that also travels well in lunch boxes. Top with a strawberry heart to let your little one know you love them. SO cute.
- 1/2 cup applesauce
1 3-ounce packet JELL-O strawberry-flavored gelatin
1 cup plain Greek-style yogurt
- Add the applesauce to a small sauce pan and cover with the packet of JELL-O strawberry-flavored gelatin mix. Bring to a boil while stirring, heating until the gelatin has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Measure and add the yogurt to a mixing bowl then slowly stir in the warm JELL-O mixture. Invite your child to carefully whisk the ingredients together until there aren't any yogurt lumps.
- Line a muffin tin with 8 liners then offer your child a ladle for evenly distributing the mixture between the cups. Set in the fridge for at least 2-hours before serving.
- Serve in the cups topped with a heart strawberry slice or carefully remove the liner and flip onto a plate. Either way makes for a cute and delicious bite!
