Alongside Cheerios, we're highlighting a first-of-its-kind news brand that's helping parents get their kids involved in the conversation.
Just because your kids aren't listening to radio news shows or tuning into the same TV programs as you doesn't mean they shouldn't still be involved in the larger conversation about what's going on in the world. It's time to say hello to NowThis Kids, an innovative platform providing programming tailored specifically families with kids and everything they're interested in. NowThis, the leading mobile news brand in the US, has partnered with Cheerios to launch a dedicated YouTube channel, podcast, and newsletter speaking directly to families with kids.
NowThis Kids will focus on timely stories families with kids who are putting kindness into action in their communities, and the content will be hosted by youth activist Naomi Wadler. You can expect to see original content dropping on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. For example, on Mondays, Naomi will host videos that include interviews and segments that highlight young people doing amazing things in their communities, along with giving tools to parents that will help them encourage their kids to do good by taking action.
Wednesday's content drop will be a 10-minute podcast episode where Naomi and NowThis contributors will talk about uplifting stories for families to listen to before school. And on Fridays, the NowThis Kids email newsletter will share the week's most important news of kids going above and beyond in their communities, as well as links to additional family friendly content to watch together over the weekend.
