Where Will Pippa Middleton Get Her Wedding Dress Inspiration From?

On May 20th, all eyes will be on a quaint corner of the English countryside in Berkshire, as the Duchess of Cambridge's baby sister Pippa Middleton gets married to hedge fund manager James Matthews. It has been reported that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be page boy and flower girl, and Kate's style choices are hotly anticipated — as too are details of the bride's wedding dress. Pippa has been visited at home by designer Giles Deacon, but who knows what look she will go for on her big day? We sort through some of her best bride-vibe outfits from throughout the years to look at which elements she's likely to be inspired by for her wedding . . .

Both Pippa and Kate are big fans of the fresh white eyelet dress. The fabric on this Tania Laurie dress is also known as broderie anglais as it was so popular in England during the 19th century — the classic and vintage feel seems to strike a chord with the bride-to-be, who has worn the fabric on many occasions.

Pippa usually goes for more classic styling, so the cut-outs and metallic angular collar of this Suzannah gown are a bit different for her. She could well try something bold and different on her big day, especially since Giles Deacon is known for his innovative styling.

The geometric design by Tabitha Webb is unlikely to pop up on May 20, but could we see the clean lines and slightly sporty feel reworked for the famous fitness fan?

The low-cut and clingy Alexander McQueen gown that Pippa wore as Kate's maid of honor was pretty risqué for a royal wedding. It's unlikely that Pippa will go down the same route for her own wedding dress, but a sleek silhouette of her most famous gown to date could be incorporated.

Could we see a blouse sleeve and wrap-around effect at the waist as a bridal look? Quite possibly . . .

This pretty gauzy number from LK Bennett that Pippa wore to a charity fundraiser last summer has a beautiful boho-chic wedding vibe . . .

Another white eyelet number — this one from Whistles was worn the first time Pippa was photographed following the news of her engagement. A wedding dress made from the fresh, pretty fabric isn't out of the question.

Shimmery elements, pretty color and a ribbon sash on this Hugo Boss gown could make an appearance on Pippa's big day — especially since the shade suits her skin and hair tone so well.

Spaghetti straps might not be a first choice for most brides, but the diaphanous skirt, subtle sparkly embellishments, and she shade are tick, tick, tick.

At Prince George's christening, Pippa opted for a retro look and cream color with this two-piece from Suzannah — both could incorporated in a wedding gown, but it's unlikely the bride-to-be will go for quite so high a neckline.

At Princess Charlotte's christening Pippa once again chose a cream color scheme, this time from Emilia Wickstead. The high collar works well on her, as does the similarly retro-flavored textured fabric.

We love the shape and style of this Suzannah dress, and minus the poppies and with a bit more length it would totally work for bridal!

Of all the white eyelet dresses Pippa has worn in public, this is the one which could inspire the most wedding dress touches — the lower neckline, cute capped sleeve, and darting on the skirt would all work well for bridal . . .

The neckline on this Hugo Boss gown may have a little more va-va-voom than most bride's but the swirly fabric, Grecian pleating, and beautifully structured bodice would all add up to one wow-factor gown . . .
