The Miniskirt Trend That Looks Good on Everyone

Summer wardrobe, meet your new throw-on-and-go essential that will have you looking party-ready in a flash. With a shirred- or smocked-top miniskirt, all you have to do is literally pull it on over your hips, throw on anything from a cotton T-shirt for day to a silk cami for night, and you're good to go — no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

I first met the smocked-top skirt when I was in high school, and, while I took a markedly long hiatus from the trend, I've come to rediscover its ultra-feminine ease of wear in the past few seasons and quickly see this Summer as shaping up to be the height of my smocked miniskirt love.
