"Brands not photoshopping as much. It's really making a difference. I heard that L'Oréal had stopped photoshopping their campaigns. Aerie was one of the first big brands to not photoshop, and Target stopped doing it, too. It's vital for the mental health of young people for people to be more transparent and stop participating in what shouldn't be legal. It's literal false advertising; it's f*cking crazy that airbrushing in advertising is allowed, especially in beauty, like [campaigns for] skin, aging, and makeup. You shouldn't be allowed to wear false eyelashes in a mascara campaign. These things shouldn't be legal, and so I'm feeling a bit less disheartened watching more and more companies start to embrace real people. There are just loads of different companies showing stretch marks, cellulite, and a little bit of a roll over the top of the jeans, you know what I mean?"
