Register For a 5K
Even if you’ve never run a mile, consider registering for a 5K two to three months out. Having a race on your calendar will make it far easier to stick to a regular training plan, keep you consistent, and keep you motivated through the tough days. If you can find a 5K that supports a charity close to your heart, you’ll have that much more motivation to stick with your training plan.
