Here's How to Up Your Mojito Game

I love sipping a mojito. Crisp touches of mint alongside the tang of lime is potentially the perfect drink for enjoying with friends. You might not think this classic drink can get any better, but we found a flavor addition that really works — kiwi. Be prepared to wow at your next party.

Kiwi-Lime Mojito

INGREDIENTS

    • 4 to 5 fresh mint leaves
    • 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
    • 1/2 lime, cut into slices
    • 1 kiwi, cut into slices
    • 1 ounce white rum
    • 1 ounce Smirnoff vodka
    • 1 cup club soda

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Place the mint in a half-pint mason jar along with the sugar, and use the end of a wooden spoon to muddle them together, pressing the handle into the sugar and mint.

    2. Add the lime and kiwi slices along with the white rum and vodka. Secure the lid, and lightly shake to mix the ingredients, and then let set overnight in the fridge. Finish with fresh ice and the club soda.
