No matter how many dresses you try on or hairstyles you pin, your wedding-day look never turns out precisely the way you pictured it in your head. Sometimes it's for the better, and other times, like in this case, the worse. Blame it on the weather, blame it on Pinterest, or blame it on that makeup artist you know you shouldn't have hired to begin with. We asked real brides to reveal their biggest wedding-style regret.

"The bridal shop wanted to sew cups into my dress, versus me wearing a bra. The cups turned out to not be enough support, and it shows in every picture. My dress sits oddly and I look saggy!" — Kirsten

"I wish I would have treated myself like more of a princess. I'm the frugal type, so I ended up going with a more affordable makeup artist to try and save some money. There was another girl who was amazing and that I loved. Until this day, I still regret not booking her." — Carrie

"The dress I wore was the most beautiful dress and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, but little did I know how heavy it was going to be! It was a super hot day in mid September and it was an outdoor wedding. Boy did I sweat like crazy in that heavy, beaded gown!" — Theresa

"I was one of those brides that fell into thinking I had to have more/better/different and regretted the decision almost immediately. My hair was overdone (I'm talking hundreds of bobby pins and loads of hairspray), and my makeup was over the top (fake lashes all around, layers of foundation and blush); it was all too much. I was uncomfortable, and my skin and face felt thick and unnatural, not to mention the fact that my hair didn't move for 12 hours. While that might sound like a good thing, it didn't look like a good thing." — Brandi
