Intimate Outdoor Wedding at Palo Duro Canyon State Park
After Their Big Wedding Was Canceled Due to COVID-19, This Couple Celebrated Their Love Sweetly and Safely

Rebekah and David first met through friends at a Christmas party. Turns out they had crossed paths as they worked at the same company for years in Dallas. They instantly clicked at that party and began dating shortly after. "We went dancing together, hiking, and on many other dates after that," Rebekah told POPSUGAR. "There were difficult times in life at that moment, but through everything, it was clear how much we loved each other and never wanted a life without each other."
The pair decided to settle down and start a life together, so they got engaged and moved to Georgia. They planned a large wedding to celebrate their love but unfortunately had to cancel it due to COVID-19. However, despite their plans being canceled, they tied the knot in May 2020 in an intimate outdoor ceremony surrounded by just a few family members.
Before the wedding, the pair had a mountaintop photo shoot at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Texas. Rebekah wanted the view to be a surprise, so she blindfolded David and drove them up the mountain in the quiet dawn. They gazed up into the heavenly sky that was twinkling with stars. Photographer Brittney Studer captured their happiness on camera as they took their wedding photos at sunrise. Their families joined them along the mountain, and they said their vows while surrounded by loved ones. Though this may not have been the ceremony they had planned initially, it was one that truly celebrated their love.
