- Ecuador just grounded Julian Assange. After the Wikileaks founder published hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's campaign, the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he's been holed up since 2012 avoiding extradition to Sweden, cut his internet. Ecuadorian officials didn't say much, except that they cut his internet access so he could not interfere with the United States' election process.
- Soon you'll be able to take a tour of TrumpLand. Michael Moore, the director of Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 released a surprise new film on Tuesday. The documentary, TrumpLand, is apparently less a condemnation of Trump and more an endorsement of Hillary Clinton. According to The New York Times, the film features Moore as he speaks on stage in a town that leans towards Trump.
- Even when he's in jail, El Chapo is a dangerous force in Mexico. The drug lord was recaptured in January and has been slated to be extradited to the US after his trial in Mexico. On Tuesday, the judge presiding over his case was shot and killed while jogging outside of his home. The Mexican government did not provide the judge, Vicente Bermudez Zacarias, federal protection, according to local reports.
- Drake might be injured, but he's still breaking records. Spotify announced that his song "One Dance" became the most streamed song ever on the streaming platform. With 880 million streams, "One Dance" is officially Spotify's most popular song. Drake's newest album, Views, was also the first album to reach a billion streams on Apple Music as well. Earlier this month, Drake had to cancel the remainder of his North American tour due to an ankle injury.
- A presidential pardon? No thanks, says one Texas prisoner. Ray Jones, who is serving a mandatory minimum for a drug offense, refused President Obama's clemency because he wasn't willing to meet the conditions, which includes enrollment in a residential drug treatment program. Plus, Jones is nearing the end of his sentence already, so he is clearly banking on getting out on good behavior.
- The presidential race is coming to an end. Wednesday night, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will meet in Las Vegas for the third and final presidential debate. Given the heat between the candidates during the last debate, this final showdown is expected to be quite fiery.
