Popsugar Living Dogs Meet Piglet, the Pink Puppy Who Is Blind and Deaf This Precious Pink Puppy Is Blind and Deaf and Helping Kids to Overcome Challenges October 10, 2019 by Perri Konecky First Published: October 4, 2019 View On One Page Photo 16 of 21 ADVERTISEMENT () Start Slideshow View this post on Instagram Throwback to a few weeks ago when Piglet was in LA for @petconofficial At the time he was on a special diet trial bc we were trying to find out what he’s allergic to. So he wasn’t able to eat any of the amazing treats that were offered at PetCon. When we arrived in CA Piglet was very itchy. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with him during our visit. But, within 36-48 hours of arriving in LA, the little pink boy felt better. His inflamed feet and lips cleared up and he stopped licking and scratching. I was delighted bc Piggy looked especially handsome in his PetCon pictures! He had a few day’s of relief from his allergies while we were in CA. But after a few days back in CT his allergy symptoms returned. Yesterday we got results from his extensive allergy testing. His results confirm that we are in fact related! Allergies run in our family and Piglet got our allergy genes!! Not a surprise, Piggy is allergic to grass, weeds, trees, mold, dust mites, fleas, and roaches. Thankfully he isn’t allergic to human dander. But there is one surprise positive test result. Guess what it is!! I’ll post the answer tomorrow in Piggy’s story. And no, we are not moving to California to alleviate Piglet’s allergies. He will be starting immunotherapy very soon. . . . #pinkpigletpuppy #petcon #losangeles #dogtravel #seasonalallergies #vetdermatology #vetderm #veterinarymedicine #vetmedicine #dogsofinstaworld A post shared by Piglet, deaf blind pink puppy (@pinkpigletpuppy) on Jul 18, 2019 at 5:25pm PDT Share This Link Copy ← Use Arrow Keys → 16 Previous Next Start Slideshow DogsPuppiesDisabilityTouching Stories
