Get Excited! 2 MAJOR Attractions Are Reopening Soon at Disneyland

A classic Disney attraction is getting a major makeover — and we will get to experience it all soon! Disney Parks blog announced today that Rivers of America and the Disneyland Railroad will reopen in Summer 2017. The new updates will include all of the attractions along the ride, like "Fantasmic!", Mark Twain Riverboat, Sailing Ship Columbia, Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, and Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes. The original Rivers of America attraction debuted on Disneyland's opening day in 1955, where guests traveled the river on the Mark Twain Riverboat.

According to Disney, Rivers of America will have "a gorgeous new riverbank and an elevated trestle over which the iconic Disneyland Railroad will travel." Start planning your Summer 2017 trip to Disneyland to celebrate the reopening!
