Star Wars Movie Memorabilia

This Girl’s Obsession With Star Wars Is the Stuff Dreams Are Made Of

We've partnered with Denny's to help you make movie memories.

If you're excited about SOLO: A Star Wars Story, you'll get along with Chloe Gabrielle. At 12 years old, this Star Wars buff has amassed a lifetime's worth of collectibles, including more than 100 action figures, 20 full-size figures, dolls, costumes, coins, ornaments, drinking glasses, and even a phone! Suffice it to say, she's over the moon to see her favorite characters back in action, and about the new Denny's SOLO: A Star Wars Story-inspired menu, plus commemorative cups and cards. To find out why the Force is so strong with her, we asked Chloe to show us her prized collection. Star Wars fanatics, meet your new hero.

POPSUGAR: On a scale of 1 to light years, how big of a Stars Wars fan are you?

Chloe Gabrielle: Definitely light years. I am a super mega ultra superfan! I love anything that has to do with Star Wars, and I was so excited for SOLO: A Star Wars Story. I couldn’t wait to see it.

PS: So you love Star Wars more than Han loves The Millennium Falcon. How did that start?

CG: My parents started collecting Stars Wars items for me before I was even born, and my dad has been watching the movies with me since I was a baby — and exposed me to all things Star Wars at an early age. My dad and I were excited to meet so many Stars Wars Characters when we went to Disney World. I hugged Chewbacca! It was so awesome. I will never forget that day.

"I love anything that has to do with Star Wars."

PS: Who are your favorite Star Wars characters?

CG: I love Rey because she proves that girls can do anything that boys can do. I also really love Chewbacca, because he is so cute and fluffy. I just love the porgs — they are adorable.

PS: So far, which Star Wars movies have you enjoyed the most?

CG: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, because everything looks so realistic and because Princess Leia is in both of them. It was cool to see her in the newer movies so many years later. Rey is in both movies, too!

PS: You have TONS of Star Wars memorabilia. Which pieces are you most proud of?

CG: My favorites are my Huge BB-8 play set, my vintage Princess Leia (from A New Hope), my Chewbacca action figure, and my Princess Leia, Rey, and Jyn Erso dolls. I love all Star Wars things. It's a great time to be a collector because there are so many items for girls now!

PS: Where do you keep them all!?

CG: I keep them displayed on shelves in my room, in cabinets throughout my house, and in the basement — where I am saving some in totes for the future.

"It's a great time to be a collector because there are so many items for girls now!"

PS: So how excited are you about the new SOLO: A Star Wars Story film?

CG: Super excited! My favorite parts were finding out how Han Solo got his last name and finding out how he met Chewbacca! I also really liked seeing another girl character — and also Qi’ra’s role in the movie. Lastly, I liked finding out that Han Solo won the Millennium Falcon in a game played against Lando Calrissian!

PS: What else did you do on the day you saw the new movie?

CG: After school my Dad and I ate dinner at Denny's, where I got more SOLO: A Star Wars Story trading cards for my collection. I now have all four cups! Then we went to the movies.

PS: What was your order from the Denny's SOLO: A Star Wars Story-inspired menu that day?

CG: I ordered the Crystal Crunch Milk Shake with Crystal Crunch Rocks and the Co-Reactor Pancake Breakfast. My Dad had the Blaster Fire Burger with Bacon Cheddar Tots.

PS: Which of the Denny's collectibles is next on your wish list?

CG: I only have 4 of the 12 cards so far, and I'm most excited to add Chewbacca (of course!) and also Han Solo.

PS: How do you plan to preserve them?

CG: The cups I will put in my room on my shelf. The cards will be in card holders in one of my binders.

PS: Will you trade them with any of your equally Star Wars-obsessed friends!?

CG: Yes. I really want the whole collection, so trading might be the only way to do that!
