Unless you've been here, we'd wager you had no idea Plano, Texas — which is about 20 miles north of Dallas — was known for being such a happy place. St. Paul beat out its twin city — that'd be Minneapolis, which ranked 26 — on the list. If you're craving a little education, walk around the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Candy-colored historic buildings, subtropical vibes, and delicious seafood would make anyone deliriously happy! Stroll down the cobblestone streets of historic downtown Charleston and you'll run into horse-drawn carriages and antebellum architecture.
