It was the battle of the divas on the American Idol season 12 finale in LA last night, and we're not just talking about contestants Candice Glover and Kree Harrison facing off for the final time. Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey both took the stage to sing during the finale, with Mariah singing a medley of her biggest hits in a formfitting white gown and J Lo energetically performing "Live It Up" alongside Pitbull. Judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson also got in on the action on stage, making Nicki Minaj the only judge who didn't do a performance of some kind. This all came hot on the heels of persistent rumors that Nicki won't return to Idol next year.

J Lo's American Idol show marks the first time she's returned to the program since she stepped down as a judge last year. There have been rumors that Jennifer may return to American Idol, and she said that she might consider making a comeback during an interview at the nuvoTV upfronts in NYC on Wednesday. Jennifer wasn't the only star who made a splash on Idol last night — Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, and Taylor Hicks all returned to the show that gave them their start. The night ended on an emotional note when Glover was crowned the winner of American Idol.

Some of country's biggest names got together to raise money for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum at Keith Urban's annual We're All For the Hall benefit in Nashville last night. It was Keith's fourth time hosting the event, which had performances by Tim McGraw, country legend Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, and Kid Rock. Also on hand were singers Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, and Vince Gill.

Tim took the stage during a break from his residency with his wife, Faith Hill, in Las Vegas, which wraps up this month. He won't be away from the microphone for long, though, since he's hitting the road for his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour on May 2. Keith is also kicking off a string of dates with his Light the Fuse Tour launching in Ohio this Summer.

Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Pitbull were brought together by Tim McGraw last night for his Superstar Summer Night concert taping in Las Vegas. The event, which comes hot on the heels of Sunday night's ACM Awards, featured performances from Taylor, Keith, Ne-Yo, Luke Bryan, and Tim's wife, Faith Hill, who sang "Piece of My Heart." Taylor put her fit figure on display in a tight black dress as she performed "Highway Don't Care" with Tim and Keith. Lady Antebellum also took the stage to introduce fans to a new song, "Goodbye Town."

The country music event is meant to be a kickoff to the Summer touring season, and also raises money for ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music. The special will air on Sunday, May 19 on CBS.

Country stars from all over the US got together in Las Vegas last night for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Taylor Swift looked stunning in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown as she worked her stuff on the red carpet alongside stars like Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban. Carrie Underwood made a big statement in a red Naeem Khan frock, while Faith Hill went for a simple black number to pose in front of photographers with husband Tim McGraw. Inside the event, Taylor got giddy when she got a chance to meet Shania Twain and John Mayer sang with Brad Paisley in one of his first live performances since he has battled vocal cord problems.

Big winners at the ACM Awards included Miranda Lambert, who nabbed awards for female vocalist of the year, single record of the year, and song of the year with husband Blake Shelton. Miranda broke down in tears during her acceptance speeches, saying that she was "rooting for Carrie Underwood" for the female vocalist award. Other winners included Little Big Town and Luke Bryan, who won entertainer of the year and also cohosted the event with Blake.

Nicole Kidman made a dramatic choice this evening, wearing a L'Wren Scott gown to the Oscars. She's been a familiar face on red carpets this award season. She was nominated — but did not win — for her work in The Paperboy and Hemingway & Gellhorn at the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes. Nicole also trekked to her native Australia for their AACTA Awards. It hasn't been all about Nicole and her work, though, as she also accompanied her musician husband, Keith Urban, to the Grammys. Most recently, Nicole was in London for the UK premiere of her latest film, Stoker. All the jet-setting is on hold for tonight, as Nicole preps to present at the Oscars. Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban celebrated Valentine's Day with dinner at Eveleigh in LA yesterday. They have some downtime after getting glammed up for a big appearance at Sunday's Grammys so Keith could take the stage as a presenter. Nicole and Keith have been fixtures at this award season. They both attended at the Golden Globes, where they were both up for honors. Later, Nicole stepped out solo for the SAG Awards. However, the fun isn't over for the couple just yet — it was recently announced that Nicole will present at the 2013 Oscars. Nicole isn't up for an Academy Award this time around, but she did win best actress in 2002 for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in The Hours.

Nicole Kidman wore gold Vera Wang to accompany her husband, Keith Urban, to the Grammys in LA tonight. Both Keith and Nicole have been award-season so far — she was up for two Golden Globes thanks to her small-screen work in Hemingway & Gellhorn and her big-screen work in The Paperboy. Tonight, though, is all about Keith, one of the evening's presenters. He's not nominated this year, but he's won plenty of Grammys before. He has a total of four, and most recently won best male country vocal performance for "'Til Summer Comes Around" in 2011. The fun has already started for Nicole and Keith — they caught up with pals Faith Hill and Tim McGraw on their way inside Staples Center.

Nicole Kidman arrived in Sydney yesterday with her daughters, Faith and Sunday, and her fellow Aussie actor Russell Crowe. Nicole and her girls got picked up at the airport by Keith Urban, who showered Nicole with kisses before whisking the actress off so she could get ready for that night's AACTA Awards. Russell, meanwhile, helped Nicole usher her kids out of the airport and headed home to prepare for the award show, which he hosted. This isn't the first time that Nicole and Russell have spent time together this week — they also hung out at the SAG Awards on Sunday. Nicole attended the show solo while Keith stayed in Australia for his tour, which will take him to North America this Summer.
