Yesterday's Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in LA was a family affair for stars such as Rachel Zoe, Alessandra Ambrosio, Selma Blair, and Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. The India-inspired event also drew Lauren Conrad and her boyfriend William Tell, who were spotted cozying up to each other in the VIP tent, Twilight star Ashley Greene, and Justin Long, among others. We spotted Justin horsing around with Jerry and Rebecca's twin daughters during the kid-friendly party, where fellow moms Rachel and Alessandra also did some bonding with their little ones.

The match was a close one, but polo star Nacho Figueras's team reigned supreme with a score of 10 to 9 after actress Ali Larter kicked things off by throwing out the first toss. With son Skyler Berman and husband Rodger Berman by her side, Rachel presented Ralph Lauren model Nacho with an oversize bottle of Champagne at the awards ceremony, during which he was honored as the day's MVP.

InStyle and Forevermark hosted a pre-Golden Globes bash at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night. Jessica Alba turned out for the event in a sexy black Valentino number, Nina Dobrev rocked a floral frock, and Michelle Williams went bright in a white Versace dress. It was just another glamorous appearance for Michelle, who has been busy accepting praise for My Week With Marilyn. She picked up a statue at the Palm Springs International Film Festival over the weekend and enjoyed a lunch in the movie's honor yesterday. Jessica, meanwhile, missed husband Cash Warren's birthday to attend, though she shared a sweet message on Twitter in honor of his 33rd.

Olivia was in a black cutout number from Cushnie et Ochs, and Amanda wore a frothy white creation from her pal Prabal Gurung. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney paired her dark lipstick with a peach Calvin Klein and posed for photos alongside her Rodarte-clad friend Mia Wasikowska. Joseph Altuzarra was the big CFDA winner, taking home the top honor as well as a $300,000 prize! Jewelry designer Pamela Love and Creatures of the Wind's Shane Gabier and Chris Peters were runners-up with $100,000 going to both. Vogue editor Anna Wintour was on hand to mingle with the star-studded crowd that also included Zoe Kravitz and her BFF Alexander Wang as well as loved-up couple Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn.

Lindsay Price was the center of attention at her LA baby shower yesterday where her mother, Dianne, and friends including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tiffani Thiessen, Rebecca Romijn, Sara Rue, and Jaime Ray Newman celebrated the new mom-to-be. SMG and Lindsay go way back to their early days on the daytime soap All My Children, though Lindsay is taking a break from TV while Sarah can be seen on her new primetime drama, Ringer. Lindsay also worked on the small screen with Tiffani when the pair teamed up with Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, and Luke Perry on the original 90210. In real life, Lindsay's found her leading man in professional chef Curtis Stone, who didn't join in the baby shower festivities, which were decorated in gender-neutral colors. Curtis says he's "very excited to be a dad" and revealed that Lindsay is doing "really good" with her pregnancy. Lindsay has a few more weeks to go until the birth of her first child, but soon thereafter she and Curtis will likely be scheduling playdates with their famous friends.

America Ferrera married her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, yesterday in New York state! The newlyweds borrowed her Ugly Betty costar Vanessa Williams's home in Chappaqua for the lavish event, which was officiated by their other castmate Judith Light. America and Ryan were engaged for just over a year, as she debuted her diamond ring last June at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland. Her most recent acting work was a recurring role on The Good Wife, and hopefully America has enough time off to honeymoon with Ryan before she starts doing voice work for How to Train Your Dragon 2. Congrats to the happy couple.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell each had a twin on their hip in LA yesterday. The parents stopped by an indoor playground with their daughters, Dolly and Charlie, who looked adorable in matching t-shirts. Rebecca recently chatted about her 2-year-olds during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, saying that, though her kids could not have more distinct personalities, they're both daddy's girls. The busy mom has been sticking to the small screen since the birth of her children, but she made her mark in movies like 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. The film's prequel, X-Men: First Class, comes out next month, with Jennifer Lawrence taking over Rebecca's former role of Mystique in what is anticipated to be one of the best action flicks of the Summer.

Gwyneth Paltrow got some of her best Big Apple girlfriends together last night for Good Housekeeping's Shine On Awards, which honored the achievements of powerful women. The actress was there to salute the work and raise awareness around maternal health done by Christy Turlington Burns, and they shared the evening with other ladies like Meryl Streep, Rebecca Romijn, and new mom Ali Larter. Gwyneth, who was on the cover of the magazine's February issue, has been busy with her return to Glee, which airs next week, and promoting her latest publication — she hosted a dinner for friends like Cameron Diaz, Jay-Z, and Mario Batali on Monday to toast her new cookbook My Father's Daughter. She was on hand yesterday to congratulate others, but Gwyneth took a minute to discuss the long hours she spends maintaining her awesome figure. Gwyneth said on the red carpet, "The reason that I can be 38 and have two kids and wear a bikini is because I work my [expletive] ass off. It's not an accident. It's not luck, it's not fairy dust, it's not good genes. It's killing myself for an hour and a half five days a week, but what I get out of it is relative to what I put into it. That's what I try to do in all areas of my life."
