King Kong

King Kong Rules

I have written before that this was one of the few movies on my must see list this December.

I have written before that this was one of the few movies on my must see list this December. I knew I wanted to see it because Peter Jackson was the man behind the film and he had a budget of over $200M. Jackson did such an amazing job with the Lord of the Rings movies that you knew he would re-make Kong perfectly. I really had no idea what I was in for- it really blew me away.

The movie is a classic Beauty and the Beast love story full of adventure and amazing special effects and it will make you laugh and cry. Titanic - Smitantic, King Kong is about to rock the box office! You thought the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park looked cool - they got nothing on these guys. Kong looks so real - his hair, scars, breathing, mannerism, and that vicious roar. Most of all, Kong has a heart full of love and you feel it.

How to Be an A-Lister in Life

How scary is this?

How scary is this? Pimp Daddy Simpson is hosting a"motivational seminar" on January 14 in Dallas for $60. The topic, How to be an A-lister in Life. Lucky for those in the audience he won't be hosting alone, but here is what the release said you could expect:

Their motivational seminar will give tips for being an A-lister in life, and how to put together an award winning gameplan for pursuing the career of your dreams. These Hollywood insiders will also share their behind-the-scenes stories of what it's like working in one of the most cut throat industries around.

Whether attendees are looking to be the next pop icon, hot TV star or realize that dream job--this seminar will provide the tools necessary from experts that have been part of history making careers of their own.

Do you think he mentions how to exploit your daughters double d's, i mean assets? How about breaking up your daughter's marriage. I wonder if he will bring up what it takes to go from a religious man to a greedy wannabe Hollywood hotshot. Don't get me wrong - he's doing something right since his daughters are everywhere and they banked millions this year, but do you think the seminar includes a follow up on ethics???

Blender's Woman of the Year

We love American Idol more for watching the terrible auditions and the banter than the actual performances but we had a feeling about Miss Kelly.

We love American Idol more for watching the terrible auditions and the banter than the actual performances but we had a feeling about Miss Kelly. We just knew she would be a big huge star. Turns out Kelly has more to celebrate than her Blender cover. Kelly has sold over 5.5 million copies of Breakaway and it has spent the past year on the Top 20. Kelly is one of only 4 artists to stay on the charts for a year. Nice work Kelly.

Tabloid Reality TV

WWD reports that tabloid sales are down in the fourth quarter.

WWD reports that tabloid sales are down in the fourth quarter. Does this mean we had our fill this summer with all the juicy stories flying around? Maybe we have had enough of seeing Jessica on every single magazine cover on the same weekend. Give us more variety please. Maybe the Brad, Angie, Jen triangle has not been as interesting as there seems to be no real feud between anyone.

So what's next to keep us interested in celebrity everything? How about a reality TV show about a tabloid? Radar reports that AMI, the folks who publish Star and Celebrity Living, are looking to get a show where we can watch how these headlines actually make it in print. Miss Seventeen is already a MTV success and now every magazine wants to be involved in TV. Wouldn't it be exciting to learn how they determine the baby headlines for Jessica the weekend they actually announce a split?
