This was another disappointing week at the box office. Boxofficemojo.com reports that "overall business for the first weekend of May the lowest since 1999 at an estimated $77 million for the top 12 pictures." That's not good. Hopefully with all the fabulous movies coming out soon we will become more interested in going to the movies instead of renting them.

This week Orlando Bloom's movie, Kingdom of Heaven, took the top spot with $20M. House of Wax came in second with a measly $12.2M. Hitchhiker took in $9.129M and Crash was fourth with $9.1M. Rounding out the top 5 was The Interpreter with $7.5M.

I saw Crash this weekend. The trailer sucked me in and I had to check it out. It is not an uplifting movie, but it was outstanding. The story was intense and the acting was fabulous. Don Cheadle and Thandie Newton were the stars and Ryan Phillippe and Matt Dillon were the eye candy (also showing off their talents). I hope this movie gets more recognition - the race issues are displayed in a serious and hilarious manner and besides, it's really nice to see Sandra Bullock in a totally different role (you got to see it to understand).

WMA is going down
Page Six reports that William Morris is in serious trouble since one of the agents made some silly remarks about SM Gellar in The New Yorker. Now Halle, Sarah, and Lucy Lui have left. Whose next? They say there is an emergency meeting at The Shutters on the Beach hotel in Santa Monica - who really works at a place like that?

Poor girl just wants to help the young contestants on American Idol. Now she is taking the high road and avoiding fighting with Corey Clark. She denies their affair, which I don't really care about. She makes fun if herself on SNL this weekend and gets to say the famous lines of Live from NY it's Saturday Night. I was hoping for a little more, but I think she was just playing it safe.

Now she is coming back to LA and has to have multiple bodyguards help her get through the airport. At one point it looks like the paparazzi are getting aggressive - I don't know why - it’s not like it’s Brad and Angelina or anything.

Because everyone wants to try to figure out what a baby is saying. I hope this comes to market in time for their newborns.

Thursday:

• The O.C. has George Lucas - I repeat, The O.C. has GEORGE LUCAS. Sweeps is the best!
• NBC has the season finale of Joey followed by the last events of The Apprentice and finally, a new ER. Noah Wyle is leaving soon so get your fix on now.
• CBS has Survivor but I don't care about CBS on Thursday - sorry
• Bravo has a new episode of Project Greenlight. This season has been worth watching. I may actually see this movie.

Wednesday:

• Lost is new and I want to know what's in hatch already.Alias is all new also and this is soon-to-be-mommy, Jennifer Garner's directorial debut episode.
• CBS has more Elvis
• NBC has more Revelations
• Pam Anderson's, Stacked is on after American Idol which goes down to 3.
• NBC continues the TV movie Revelations.
• Jack and Bobby is new on the WB and we meet their daddy, guest star, Lou Diamond Phillips.

Tuesday:

• American Idol is on FOX. We're down to 4 - we might as well fast forward to Bo and Carrie. So long Scott - I guess VotefortheWorst.com did not work out as planned. A new House is on after AI
• It's the 2 hour season finale of The Amazing Race. Go Uchenna and Joyce - beat Rob and Amber please.
• The lovable Scrubs season finale is tonight.
• The Shield is new on FX

Monday

• 24 on FOX - Three hours left - will Jack and President Palmer be able to stop the terrorists?
• NBC has all new shows, but the only one worth watching is Las Vegas. Tonight has guest stars Jon Lovitz (who may have his own show in Sept) and Ashanti.
• ABC has theThe Bachelor. Tonight the women tell all - hopefully they tell Sarah W how ridiculous she is.

Before we mentioned Ben Stiller's recognition for his work with ALS. Also this weekend was the Kids For Kids 2005, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Carnival in NYC. My 2 favorite pics from this is the LL Cool J pic with Vaness Cartlon and the Power Rangers. LL was having a fun time - and then there's Mario Vasquez. Think he's gay?

Finally, the 12th Annual Revlon Run/Walk For Women in LA. Bigger stars here include Halle Berry, The Rock, and Marcia Cross. It's nice to see these celebs give back.
