Saturday:

• NBC has 2 repeats of their new show Surface and a repeat of Law and Order SVU. SNL premieres with host Steve Carell and musical guest Kanye West
• ABC is re-airing the premiere of Commander in Chief after 2 hours of Invasion so if you missed it catch it tonight

Looks like all the rumors were true. Paris Hilton made a statement today calling off her wedding to Paris Latsis. Once again US Weekly got the exclusive over People. Paris said,:

"I'm sad to announce that I've called off my engagement. Over the last couple months I've realized that this is the right decision for me. We remain best of friends, and I'll always love him. I hope people will respect my privacy during this emotional time"

I wonder what FOX plans to do now that The Simple Wife angle is not going to work. Nicole is probably loving this.

She posted on note to all her fans on her website to let us know she was not is rehab. We knew it could not have been true. Check out her post below:

I am so overwhelmed by the absurdity of rumors and how on earth they could possibly get started. It's unbelievable! Earlier this week, I was apprised of a wonderful piece of gossip that I was in rehab... nice!
As I sit here at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Los Angeles drinking my English Breakfast Latte, (quite a distance from a supposed Connecticut rehab center I have apparently checked myself into), I am so saddened that people stretch as far as they do in attempting to spread gossip that, at the end of the day, is just downright hurtful. I know rumors and falsities will continue to exist and its the world we live in...but c'mon people.. If you're gonna spread trash and gossip, there should be a line drawn on issues that you just don't go near!
Regardless, I'm not going to respond anymore publicly than here on my own website as it would probably make the originators of this ridiculousness happy and fuel their little fire.
Yesterday, I just finished shooting the new Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) film, "Southland Tales," here in L.A. I am in the finishing phase of my album which I couldn't be happier with and more proud of. Things are really heating up and I'm so anxious to get out there and share this music with you all.

Clearly Jessica's NYC hotel is the Ritz Carlton. She must be their #1 client. I feel like she is there almost once a month. No trendy meatpacking hotels for Ms Simpson - she's all class and wants the best. Plus they allow adorable Daisy to stay with her in the hotel. She is headed home to LA perhaps back to her hubby Nick?

Radar Online is claiming that the frequent sexscapades between Kate, Jude and Sienna may have resulted in Kate's baby girl. Her ex-boyfriend, Jefferson Hack is seeking sole custody of their daughter, Lila Grace, but could it be that he is not even the daddy?

OK! Magazine is claiming they are paying $3M for the pics from Demi and Ashton's wedding. They also supposedly secured the first pics of baby Spears Federline for $2M. Or is this just a way to get some press so people start buying their magazine?
