The Jolie-Pitts had a lovely time in Mumbai over the weekend. While we wish we would see more of Shiloh with the gang, it is pretty incredible to see the family enjoying some quality time in between work days. Angelina has been hard at work on A Mighty Heart, and it turns out she became very good friends with Mariane, the woman she is portraying in the film. Life & Style reports:

“It's a special friendship that comes with a lot of perks,” an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “Mariane has traveled frequently on Brad Pitt’s plane, and she and Angelina talk about everything together, not just the movie.” Brad brought the two women together early last year in LA when he was promoting Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Angie, in part to familiarize Angie with Mariane’s accent, which Angie had to learn for the movie.

“Brad felt if he was going to make this movie, it was really important that Angelina and Mariane became friends and started to understand each other,” says the insider. “Brad says he feels really lucky that they hit it off because the movie just couldn't have happened if they hadn’t, especially since Jen [Aniston] had already met with Mariane several times as they were developing the project and had an eye on playing the role herself. Brad says he’s overjoyed that everyone has hit it off so well, and he says Maddox has a friend for life in Mariane’s young son, Adam.”

And it seems Brad and Angelina have a friend for life in Mariane. “Even though it took Danny Pearl’s death to bring everyone together like this,” says the insider, “Brad, Angelina and Mariane are all determined to keep this friendship healthy and really make a difference in the world while they’re at it.”

Jessica and Nick announced their split the day before Thanksgiving just one year ago. Nick is quickly moving on with Vanessa Minnillo, and there are even rumors that he plans to remarry soon. And while there have been plenty of rumors about Jessica and possible suitors, none have panned out. Still, Jess doesn't seem to be worried. It's clear she's moved on and this Thanksgiving is sure to be much better than last year. She's revealing her plans for a fabulous family Thanksgiving this year. People reports:

Simpson decamped to her own Beverly Hills mansion and has kept busy with music and movie work. "She's doing great," Simpson's stylist and BFF Ken Paves, tells PEOPLE, while Simpson says that this Thanksgiving will be spent with family in Texas.

"I'm going to Waco with my family. I look forward to just seeing my grandparents and giving them a big hug and cooking with my grandma and my family," she tells PEOPLE. "And just kind of being normal for a little bit."

Asked what she's most grateful for this Thanksgiving, after all that has happened since the last one, Simpson replies: "My family is always No. 1 on my thank-you list. Their support and love (are) unconditional. Nothing can rock it."

And Simpson has a new plan for reeling in men: DVDs, she says (the singer is working on a new promotional campaign for Blockbuster Video). "You ask a guy to bring over a movie they want you to watch, and I think it would tell a lot about them," she says, though she notes: "It hasn't worked yet."

LL was spotted leaving Teddy this weekend with a friend but don't let that make you think she is a party girl. Once again we are hearing people people praise LL for her talent instead of what most of the tabloids prefer to concentrate on - her partying. The latest comes from Emilio Estevez, who directed LL's latest movie Bobby. He said, "The media focuses on allegations of her wild-child behaviour because it sells. I'd rather have them focus on how extraordinary she is in this film,"

Paris skipped out on the Hollywood scene and jetted off to Dublin this weekend to launch her new fragrance Heiress. Her parents tagged along to show off Paris' latest project at the store BT2. She of course brought in a huge crowd who were all very interested in the latest thing Paris says is a must-have.

Here's someone we haven't seen for awhile, Ashley Judd! She came out for a screening of her new film "Come Early Morning" at the AFI Film Festival and then hit an after party in Hollywood on Thursday night. The film is about a 30-something year old Southern woman who searches for love through a series of one night stands. I hope she learns that's no way to find a man. Joking aside, Ashley looks great. We hope to see more of her!

Justin and Cammie left Paris yesterday where JT has been since hosting the MTV Europe Awards. They seem to be in good spirits while waiting to fly out of Charles de Gaulle Airport despite getting their pics snapped. It's no secret that the couple is not a fan of the paparazzi, but now we hear that Cameron is starting to accept the life she chose to live. She spoke about this in W Magazine. Here are some highlights:

"I wasn't the best version of myself for a couple of years, Something happened in our industry, in our society, and there was an explosion of this really aggressive group of people. I don't even know if they're people—these paparazzi."

"Now I've made peace with it. I realize that I can't change it. That's a part of what society expects of people in my position—to catch our lives in certain moments. And I want to make movies, so I will participate on a certain level."

Still, she doesn't think that the publicity she gets from the tabloids helps her career in any way. "Tabloids don't sell movies or help anyone's career," she says, "If that were true, every Lindsay Lohan movie would open to $80 million."

She's got a good point! We understand why she still has a hard time with the cameras, but at least she is learning to smile more often when faced with the situation.

Denise is filming Blonde and Blonder in Vancouver, and got a little pissed the other day at the pesty paparazzi. She threw 2 laptops at them and accidentally hit two elderly ladies. The women only suffered minor injuries, and Friday police said Denise won't face charges for the incident. Maybe this will teach the paparazzi not to mess with this hot mama.
