Parade Magazine had an interesting profile on Tom Cruise this weekend. He opened up about his father and his past. Even more interesting is the readers poll that Parade asked if Tom deserved all this recent negative press. Defamer reports the results actually say that a 84% sympathize with Cruise and they blame the media for his exaggerated negative press.

That's not to say his couch jumping, drug protesting, silent birth discussions haven't deserved some negative press, but people are starting to realize maybe this guy is getting a little picked on. Then there is the fact that he decided to have a little fun in a plane today. He didn't completely forget about his soon to pop wife since he wrote her a note on the nose which read Kiss Me Kate. Not sure I'd let my hubby take to the skies if I was about to be in labor, but Katie sure seems to be enjoying a little alone time as well at the department stores. We were shocked to see how large Janet had gotten from all the stress of her families craziness over the past year. Back in November we posted a pic of Janet when she was supposedly almost 250 pounds. TMZ has the latest photo which shows that Janet is almost back to her normal fabulously skinny self. How does she yo-yo like that? Whatever she has been doing to work it off should be packaged because I am amazed - you go girl!

After today's scary New York Magazine article I am not surprised at the latest Angelina headline. Poor woman just wants some privacy and protection for her unborn baby. A Namibian newspaper reported that lions will help protect them from the media. We know Brad certainly can't hold them back but maybe fierce lions will do the trick.

Maybe Paris is not as petite as everyone thinks. We've seen a ton of bikini pics but a recent report says that Paris may not be so tiny from behind. The question is - is it intensional? Page Six reports:

PARIS Hilton is not in as good shape as she appears. The slim-but-not-trim celebutard had a less than impressive run-in with ESPN The Magazine's Chris Palmer at a Knicks game, he recounts in his book, "The Sixth Man." "I accidentally brushed the back of my right hand against her left buttock . . . There's more junk in the trunk than I expected," he writes. And when she didn't react to his touch, he surmises, "Maybe she's got Botox in those cheeks."

But in case you missed all the Page Six controversy, it is possible that all these Paris mentions could simply be some paid off deal between the two. Hmmmm.

Nicole wants us to stop talking about the eating disorder thing because she said it upsets her family to read these things about her that are untrue. Nicole said the only thing she would want to change about her appearance in her nose. She has thought about getting plastic surgery to correct it but that's all she is upset with when it comes to her body image.

The Herald Sun reported that when Ashlee landed in Australia she acted larger than life. She had their usual huge sunglasses but she also came with big bodyguard and the "biggest load of luggage we've ever seen belonging to one person." They were invited as last minute guests at the MTV Australian Video Music Awards. As expected, Jessica's new man, Ken Paves, is right by her side.

Remember the story about MD bashing Brad and Angelina? Apparently GQ had published statements like, “I don’t know about Brad Pitt,� says Douglas, “leaving that beautiful woman [Jennifer Aniston] to go hold orphans for Angelina [Jolie]. I mean how long is that going to last?� - but get this - they were never said. What is going on out there is the publishing world? Douglas tells Extra tonight:

"It was a lengthy article … must've been 20 hours of tape recording, so I asked to hear the tape recording, and the reporter said, 'Well, I turned the tape recorder off.' And I said, 'Well you had it on for the whole time so I didn't say it.'"

"I consider him a good friend," Douglas says, "and she does wonderful work for the United Nations, which is what I'm also involved in ...There's just a lot of pressure on the print media and they get to kind of exploitative quotes to try to attract people for their circulation, so it was unfortunate."

Who are we to believe these days? Aren't the printed press publications like GQ and Vanity Fair supposed to be doing lots of that fact checking stuff?
