Penelope may have already been in 35 movies, but that didn't stop her from breaking down before she started shooting Volver. What got so Penelope down? Here's more:
''The day before we started shooting, I was crying in my bed from terror. The night before, I called all my family, just to cry with somebody on the phone. And they were saying, 'How can you be scared? You've done 35 movies!' I said, 'This is different.' This is the most complex, emotionally demanding character I've played. I knew the responsibility Pedro [Almodóvar , Volver's writer-director] was giving me, and I didn't want to disappoint him.''

After breaking up with DJ AM in December, and again in May, Nicole really might be moving on. US Weekly is reporting that Nicole and Brody Jenner are dating. I am still convinced this is all for PR but we are enjoying seeing more of Brody so we'll take it. He just broke up with Kristin Cavallari 2 weeks ago. Poor girl, first she had a run in with her ex's ex Jessica at the Teen Choice Awards, then Nicole and Brody at Hyde. Here's more:
The couple, who’ve been dating for just a week or two, spent the entire weekend together in Malibu, where Jenner was even seen driving Richie’s car.
“He really likes her,” a source tells Us. “Brody is really easy-going and Kristin was very high-strung. He likes that Nicole is so laid-back and that she’s older and more mature.”
The 23-year-old Princes of Malibu star hit the Teen Choice awards solo on Sunday, August 20, but met up with Richie afterward at Hyde where the two snuggled and held hands. Also on hand at the L.A. hot spot that night: Jenner’s ex, Cavallari. Awk-ward!

We were just saying how Jessica had seen better days. Looks like she took notice. Jessica amazingly lost a ton of weight prior to her big hosting gig. Everyone was buzzing about her tiny waist at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend. She looked amazing and her weight loss created more buzz than her flirtation with Dane Cook. How did Ms Simpson drop those extra pounds so quickly? Here's more:

We told you yesterday that Pete may have missed his wedding to Kate in Bali this weekend, and it seems he is pretty upset about having to stay in London for rehab. He turned violent throwing a tantrum and cursing out a male nurse who told him to attend more therapy sessions for his coke and heroin habit. Apparently he lashed out because he's lonely and misses Kate. Is it actually possible to feel sorry for sad Pete? Here's more:
A friend told 3am: "Pete flipped out on Sunday night because he doesn't want to be there and wants to get out. A nurse was trying to encourage him to get more involved in the therapy sessions when Pete suddenly went berserk."
"He was very upset, screaming 'f*** off', and lashed out at the bloke."
"He was told that if he didn't calm down he would be medicated."
"He just kept saying that he didn't want to be there and wasn't going to get involved in anything."
"He started kicking the door and slamming the walls. He said he wanted Kate. As the nurse tried to restrain him he punched him in the chest. He was out of control.'
"His behaviour was appalling. Pete's lucky that the nurse was not hurt."

Maggie doesn't want some quickie wedding just because she is pregnant. The actress has expressed that she is in no rush and she wants to wait to do it right. She said, "I've had many different incarnations of my fantasy wedding dress. I want the fairy tale!"
The interesting part is her own parents were married when her mom was already 6 months pregnant. Funny how things work out like that. Looks like Maggie won't be following exactly in her mother's footsteps but apparently they both did not feel the need to get married before getting pregnant.
Shortly after Kate and Chris announced they were splitting, the two were spotted grabbing breakfast together with their son Ryder. There were absolutely no signs of tension between the two. In fact, Kate's wearing her wedding band. Is Kate re-thinking the breakup? She did bail on the You, Me and Dupree premiere in London to spend time with her family. US Weekly Reports:
“Kate knows that Chris was a great husband and father, and questions what kind of future she would have with Owen,” says a source. “Owen has never been monogamous and Kate knows that.”
By all accounts, it was Wilson’s sense of humor that won Hudson on the set of You, Me and Dupree last year. “At times I couldn’t look at him and not laugh,” she has said. The chemistry was obvious to anyone who saw them interact. They partied at NYC club Marquee and made out on a couch at a party in L.A. thrown by CAA agent Bryan Lourd, a witness says. Now the question is whether this was a fling or a relationship built to last.
