Nicole was in Rome over the weekend to shoot a TV commercial, and the whole production really upset residents because they say they had no warning. The residents demanded money before any filming for the Sky Italia commercial could begin. Here's more:

ANGRY residents won £17,000 compensation after a film crew turned up without warning to make an advert starring Nicole Kidman. They woke to find vans and equipment choking their narrow streets and were furious when they were told to stay indoors.

They then refused to let the actress into their block of flats in the Testaccio area of Rome. With time running out for Nicole, bosses of Sky Italia handed over £17,000 and shooting began six hours late. Luigi Prosperi, spokesman for the residents said: "No one had informed us. The first we knew was when we woke up to find the streets clogged."

Nicole had flown in from London, where she is making a movie. She is staying at the Dorchester hotel, where she demanded staff change the light bulbs from 60 watts to 40.

Wonder why Nicole needed the lights lower? That's a weird request. As for her loose shirt - we just won't go there.

Fans may have complained, and there may have been rumors that Beyonce's album would be delayed, but after making it's debut on B's Birthday, B'Day has landed on top. This is the second time the new solo artist has debuted at number one. Her first album after leaving Destiny's Child, Dangerously in Love, hit number one and scored 5 Grammys. We're guessing B'Day may score a few Grammys as well. Congrats on your big B'Day, B!

Madonna won't make the short list of those heading into space. Apparently her request to secure a seat on a Russian flight to space has been rejected. She was hoping to go in 2008, but a Russian state member said no. She may be able to go in 2009. Here's more:

The lower house of Russian parliament has rejected a lawmaker's proposal to book Madonna a seat on a Russian flight to the international space station, news agencies reported Wednesday, a day after the singer's controversial concert in Moscow.

"Taking into account her good physical preparedness and financial capabilities, the dream of Louise Ciccone of a space flight could be realized in 2009," Panarin was quoted as saying. Like many Russians, he did not use the singer's first name, apparently sensitive to the Russian Orthodox Church's objections to her use of Christian symbols, especially crucifixion, in her shows.

Gwen is getting ready to unveil her spring collection on Friday when she gets her turn to show off at Fashion Week. It turns out Gwen was inspired by the lovely Michelle Pfeiffer when creating her line. Here's more:

"I was thinking about Michelle Pfeiffer in ‘Scarface,'" Gwen confessed. "I just think she was so chic and so beautiful in that whole film."

Jane Fonda is the latest to speak out about Ms. Lohan's behavior and work ethic. She totally agrees with the execs who sent LL a letter calling BS on her exhaustion. Lindsay has some of Hollywood's biggest stars speaking out about her late nights. I hope she is listening; if she's not careful she'll soon blow a very good thing. Here's more:

"I think every once in a while, a very, very young person who is burning both ends of the candle needs to have somebody say, 'You know, you're going to pay the piper. You better slow down,'" Fonda told Access Hollywood Tuesday. "So I think it was good."

"[Lohan's] in the magazines, so you always know what she's doing because you can just read about it in the tabloids," Fonda said. "She parties all the time…And you know, she's young and she can get away with it. But, you know, it's hard after a while to party very hard and work very hard. She'll learn that."

"I just want to take her in my arms and hold her until she becomes grown-up," she says. "She's so young and she's so alone out there in the world in terms of structure and, you know, people to nurture her. And she's so talented."

Looks like it's not so great Being Bobby Brown right now. Access Hollywood is reporting that Whitney has called it quits on their marriage. She has filed for separation and divorce papers may be filed by October. Here's more:

Access Hollywood has learned from a source close to Whitney Houston that the star has filed for a legal separation from her long-time husband Bobby Brown. The source says legal documents were filed Friday and that Bobby Brown was served with those documents yesterday. Houston plans to officially file for divorce in October.

Drew looks lovely as she graces the pages of the October UK edition of Elle magazine. The girl who was drinking and using drugs at a very young age reveals she would never use anti-depressants, even though she gets panic attacks. She is totally terrified they will change her cute personality. Here's more:

"Every single medical expert says (panic attacks) are not real. So you're like, 'But how come when my throat is closing up, I'm blind with dizziness, I can't catch my breath, and I am hot and faint and want to rip my skin off and am convinced I'm going to die, that's so real to me?' I had some specialist recommend a daily drug, but I don't want to do it because I don't want to suppress my emotions. I would never take a pill.
