Yes we know it is confusing to keep track of which Olsen is which but when dedicating your cover story to one of the twins you would think you would make sure you know the difference. Well WWD uncovered the first MK/Ashley mix-up of the year which took place inside the pages of the January 8th issue of Star. The story questions whether MK is anorexic again but uses a picture of Ashley as one of the examples of the skinny twin. Yes, it's hard to tell the two apart with all their hair dying and everything but come on people, every tabloid publication should have at least one Olsen expert on staff at all times.

Pam Anderson has kicked off the name calling game in response to Kid's tantrum he threw over NYE in Vegas. She's lashed out on her website by calling Kid a self-centered man. We were shocked when the two suddenly split after 4 months of marriage since they actually seemed like a great match. Let's hope Pam finds what it is she's looking for in 2007.

Lately we've all been wondering just what Britney is thinking. She's been acting out of control, drinking, smoking, and literally running around half-naked. After she apologized for her behavior on her website, we thought the old Britney could be back. But, apparently she is still spiraling downward, and she doesn't seem to care. Check out the latest pics of Britney leaving Dolce after dinner last night. Apparently, she also hit Les Deux and stayed out until 2:30 AM. However, her manager Larry Rudolph, says she is not as oblivious as she appears. Here's highlights:

• Rudolph concedes that Spears, 25, has acted out in ways to fuel negative publicity. "I'm not defending it, and she's not defending it." But many of the tabloid reports, he says, are either untrue or exaggerated. When she nodded off during an appearance at a Las Vegas nightclub New Year's Eve, he was getting calls asking which hospital she was in. "We were sitting there drinking orange juice. She got tired in a club, and we took her back to her room. Suddenly, I'm hearing words like 'collapsed' and 'passed out.' "
• From a fan's perspective, "from what they've been seeing and hearing, I understand the disappointment," Rudolph says. "But Britney is increasingly motivated to get out there. She sees this as a challenge, that some fans may be questioning her. She is respectful. She sees this as her challenge to win them back."

Hopefully, Britney can win us all back since we are starting to seriously lose faith in the Britney brand. She has definitely hit an all time low with her look last night. At least she ditched the extensions.

We haven't seen much of Wilmer on-screen since That '70s Show was canceled, but maybe that's because he has so many other projects going on. We know he was in Miami over NYE, hosting a party and making nice with his exes and now he's trying his hand in fashion design. Page Six reports:

DNR reports the host of "Yo Momma" and Miami club parties is "setting his sights on the young men's fashion market." Valderrama, who has club circles whispering that he's re-hitched with his ex, Mandy Moore, plans to launch a "Latino-inspired" men's label called Calavena this year.

Leo is one of those celebs that is intent on making the world a better place (just as long as he doesn't have to give up his private jet!). He's been working on an environmentally conscious reality show, he's an advocate for fuel-efficient cars, and he even worked with orphans while he was filming Blood Diamond in South Africa. While he was there he evidently met a girl from an orphanage that he's decided to "adopt." Instead of taking her back to the states he has decided to send her a monthly check and communicate with her by phone. So it's not quite the hands-on involvement that Madonna and the Jolie-Pitts have committed to but at least he's giving this child a chance at a better life. Also a big congrats to Leo on the 2 SAG nominations he scored today!

Jake just loves wearing this sweater, and why not? It looks great but we prefer it off so we can see more of him. Jake has a cool new movie coming out in early March called Zodiac. It's the true story of a serial killer who terrorized the SF Bay Area in the 60s and 70s. Jake plays a cartoonist at the Chronicle who gets obsessed with the case. The film also stars some of our other favorite men, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, and it's directed by David Fincher (Se7en) so its got to be good.

Lindsay Lohan went from partying in Miami to ending up in the hospital but it's not what you are thinking. The sober starlet is getting her appendix removed. TMZ has confirmed with LL's rep that she is having the surgery today. Apparently she is doing well and currently "resting comfortably." Lindsay is in the hospital almost as many times as she crashes her car. At least she is feeling better and probably getting some well needed rest. I wonder if Scott is by her side.
