Jessica Simpson may be famous and gorgeous, but she's also human. Shocking, I know. Not usually one to talk about her personal life (you know, after that first experiment with voyeurism didn't go so hot), it's exciting to see that she opened up about her feelings --yes, even those associated with a certain Lachey and his VJ of choice -- in the March issue of Elle. Here's highlights:

• "Oh, it hurt me," Simpson tells Elle in its March issue. "Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me."
• But Simpson, 26, says she's still in touch with Lachey, 33. "He's so much a part of my life, how could I not be? Any guy who's going to be with me from this day forward has to understand that."
• "I want to tell you everything, but I have to sew my lips together," she says. "It's hurt me in the past." (Still, a glimpse of her e-mail inbox reveals a block of about 10 e-mails from Mayer, including one with the subject line, "Texas girl.")

Though, as a not-so-closeted Simpson supporter, it's hard to admit that she and Nick are better off apart. It finally seems, however, as if they've both found their better paths. Sound mature? Sienna was one of the lucky ones who got a front row seat at the Rag & Bone show for Fall Fashion Week in NYC. She even chatted with Anna Wintour a bit... we bet Anna was liking this outfit way more than the underwear over the tights look the other day. It seems like Sienna is EVERYWHERE these days, but we're thinking she might disappear soon after she's done promoting her film. After all, she's kinda sick of herself too.

While I'm fairly sure that it's winter in New York, Britney went out in Manhattan this weekend dressed in a belly-baring halter top. What price fashion, Britney? What price fashion. She's in town for Fashion Week, but so far has only attended the Baby Phat show. Though we may beg to differ, perhaps a little Kimora was all Britney felt she needed in the fashion department.

Demi, Ashton and Bruce (not awkward? more power to 'em) were lucky enough to score tickets to the big game yesterday. Unfortunately for them, Da Bears weren't able to take home the ol' Lombardi...and it was pouring rain (hurricane Ditka?)...so perhaps it wasn't the most fun Super Bowl ever for them. Either way, Demi looks pretty happy to be standing with her man, er, men.

Smokin' Aces may not be heating things up at the box office, but it has still been a smart move on Ben Affleck's part - it actually helped him quit smoking. That will definitely give him more energy to put into Jen, Violet, and the film he's written and directed, Gone, Baby, Gone. Ben recently stopped for a Q&A about family life, his GG Nom, and the upside of nepotism. Here's highlights:

• You may not have won, but congrats on the Golden Globe nomination.
  I was very happy. My wife was up early with our child and [woke me up] to tell me I'd been nominated – and to get me to change the baby.
• You play a chain-smoking bail bondsman in Smokin' Aces. You're a smoker, right?
  The whole week that I shot, I smoked, like, five packs a day. By the time the movie was over, I was so sick of smoking, I just didn't want to do it anymore, and I quit. I have this celluloid record of the last time I smoked.
• How was directing your brother Casey, 31, in Gone, Baby, Gone?
  A pleasure. It was like directing anybody else, except I could fantasize that if it came down to it I could throttle him.

Up until this weekend, Lohan seemed to finally be making more healthy choices with the rehab and the not partying and whatnot...and then she went to Les Deux with Paris Hilton. Sigh. For the record, there have been no reports about Lohan slipping up by sipping up (clever!) in the club, but it's certainly never a good sign to be hitting the scene with a Hilton. Not just a Hilton, that Hilton. Brilliant.

Ryan has always been a loving father in our eyes even if he may not have been the most faithful husband. For the first time since his split with Reese he is opening up about life without her. At a press event for his new film Breach, Ryan spoke out about going through the most difficult time in his life. His simple solution to the sad time is making Ava and Deacon his number one priority. Here's more:

"I'm not a perfect person, but I'm not guilty of a lot of the things I have been accused of. My priority is and always has been the health and safety of my family."

"I acknowledge that the successes and the opportunities I've had recently have been the best of my career," he said. "I've got to say it's the last thing on my mind right now, considering what I'm going through in my personal life, but I definitely appreciate the opportunities."

But now, he said, he's ready to focus on his family: "I did three movies in the last year and a half and I'm going to take a good long break and be a dad. So that's No. 1 on my mind right now."

Ahh... makes you feel kinda sorry for the guy. Especially since Reese is absolutely glowing post break-up. At least Reese and Ryan have been able to keep it civil for the kids.

To the delight of people everywhere (okay...just me), the recently abnormally reclusive Rachel Bilson signed and dined at Mr. Chows this weekend before heading off to Hyde for cookies. With the OC wrapping up this month, the Bils has got to milk it while she's got it, right? I kid. She will have work for years to come. Well, if Zach Braff has anything to do with it at least.
