David and Victoria have landed in Nice for a little vacation time. The couple can probably use it too since David's been busy with soccer practice, while Posh was hitting the fashion show circuit. Hopefully they'll get some much-needed rest and get back to setting up shop in the states ASAP. MLS has just announced their schedules and it looks like Beckham will be traveling the country later this summer with his new teammates. He must finish his contract with Real Madrid through June 30th so it's reported that his first debut game will likely be August 5th at Toronto.

Lindsay Lohan is still hard at work on I Know Who Killed Me, but she's scheduled to take a little break after she finishes filming in order to rest, recuperate, not party, you know how it is. In order to do this, Linds had to drop out of the movie A Woman of No Importance. It may have been the healthiest decision for the starlet, but certainly doesn't mean she'll be thrilled to hear who is filling her shoes; Lindsay's nonsensical nemesis (for the moment), Jessica Biel, has signed on to take over the role formally known as Lindsay's. Is Biel the new Lohan? Shhhh, don't say it too loud. We certainly don't want to upset LL when she's still recovering.

It's been a long, hard hiatus people but we've finally made it to the new episodes of Lost! While the break was difficult, we are now rewarded with 16 straight episodes. If you need a review before tonight, get caught up with this Lost refresher course. In the meantime, here's a little Josh Holloway tidbit. The sexy actor tells Elle Magazine that he was the "king" of pick-up lines. Here's highlights:

• His best one, he says, is, "Did it hurt ... when you fell out of heaven?" Another: " 'Wow, that's a beautiful dress. I saw one just like it at Kmart.' See, you gotta make them think they're all that, and then pull the carpet out from under them."
• When asked with whom he'd want to be erroneously linked in a gossip column, Holloway, answers, "Jessica Alba."
• Before he met his wife, Holloway says that in relationships, "I've done all the dumping, which is not a good thing. It's funny, because I married someone who has always done it as well. I believe I met my match."

America Ferrera and her boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, whom she met while in college, caught a movie this week before sitting down for a post-film bite to eat. The over-bites conversation looks a little intense, so perhaps they chose heavier fare than Epic Movie or Because I Said So. Then again, judging from the previews, Epic Movie could have the ability to leave anyone feeling a little bleak.

Penelope flew in from Paris to LA to begin attending Oscar events. The actress looks amazing even after a 10-hour flight. Penelope scored her first best actress Oscar nomination for her work in Volver but she also signed on for her next role in a Woody Allen film. The movie will be shot this summer in Barcelona. Who knows, by that time she could be an Oscar winner as well.

While Paris may be really trying hard with this serious actor thing, she has still managed to bump and grind her way onto the cover of Newsweek. However, the article isn't commending her film work. The magazine's cover story, which accompanies a cover shot of Paris and Britney with the title Girls Gone Wild, poses the question of whether girls like Paris, Britney, and LL are poisoning our nation's youth and turning our 12-year olds into prosti-tots. Ultimately, the writers can't seem to answer their own question, but Paris is probably just psyched that she made the cover of Newsweek.

Sandra was looking gorgeous at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this weekend. It may have been her fabulous white dress or the fact that she was presenting her Hope Floats director with The American Riviera Award. The award honors an actor whose career has influenced American cinema. Forest has been around forever, but he rarely plays the lead so it's great that he's finally getting the attention he deserves. He has already won the Golden Globe for best actor, and he's a favorite for the Oscar so it looks like this is his year to shine.

Despite any advice coming from my direction, Elisha Cuthbert threw on her favorite jumper and chopped off all her hair before hitting the town this weekend. Though I'm sure she still cleans up real nice, I think I prefer The Girl Next Door Elisha. Perhaps this is somehow a clever ploy to get herself written back onto 24. Kim Bauer did keep her hair fairly short, after all.
