Bono brought his wife Ali, who chatted with Penelope as he mingled with the First Lady of France, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, and Ingrid Betancourt, the former Columbian hostage who also recently met with Madonna. They were gathered by past Peace Prize recipients to bestow upon Bono a "man of peace" award, adding yet another distinction to his lengthy list of humanitarian awards.
