Sarah Jessica Parker took a break from promoting her Sex and the City movie to enjoy some downtime with her son James Wilkie yesterday as he motored around NYC on his little scooter. We were lucky to have a fab advance screening and party, and now it's finally the day for everyone to head to theaters and catch up with Carrie and the gals. It's not all about the friends though — there's also the fashion! All the ladies have said their piece about the film's spectacular clothing and SJP opened up about how Carrie's wardrobe has changed in the past four years as well as the importance of Patricia Field:

"It changed just the way we all change as we get older. . . you get older and you just feel differently about it, I do. I see the connective tissue between then and now. It is more mature. It still demonstrates a love affair for fashion. . . I started begging Pat to come back in May, and then in June and then July, because she was booked on all of these other shows. But that didn’t stop me; we started talking about wedding dresses in June because we knew how complicated that would be. . . we call her the wizard because you end up trying anything on for her, even the most ridiculous and insane thing, and generally it is two in the morning and you are just so beaten down by then."

David Beckham slipped back into his uniform for a practice with the England national team down in Trinidad & Tobago today. The hot soccer star cooled down with a bottle of water, but Becks has big plans to start making some beverages of his own. After their birthday trip to Napa with all of their celebrity BFFs, David bought a vineyard as a birthday gift to Posh. They'll bottle their own "Posh wine", but aren't looking for a new business — instead they'll just have it to enjoy on their own, which means Victoria might have to stop playing coy about whether or not she drinks alcohol.

ICYMI, we were treated to a very special advanced screening of the fabulous Sex and the City movie on Wednesday, followed by a fancy afterparty. The Sugar girls dressed to the nines and showed off their best red carpet poses — can you guess which pretty girl represents each site? From the decor to the drinks to the food (Kara's Cupcakes and Lotus Vodka cosmos, yum!), it was definitely an evening to remember. Check out the video of how the "Party" planning came together. The perfect icing on the cake was that winner CarrieFrances celebrated right along with us! We also met many of our other top local team users, and we want to thank everyone for making the night so special. Kate Hudson looked very giddy while filming Bride Wars in Central Park yesterday. She kept her BlackBerry tucked into her shorts, perhaps to make sure she stayed in touch with her new boyfriend? Things seem to be heating up between these two and Kate even had Lance come to filming at the Plaza Wednesday night to watch her work. Looks like having her men visit her on set really cheers Kate up.
