Robert Pattinson was back in LA today for an afternoon meeting before his long weekend of Eclipse press and fan events. He's trading in his Water for Elephants circus-ready wardrobe to return for a few days full of Twilight mania. Robert spent the week in Ventura filming his latest project where he got an extra special visitor in costar Reese Witherspoon's daughter Ava who was apparently very excited to meet Edward Cullen. There will be lots of Rob coming over the next few days and for now this glimpse of his casual street style is enough to get us excited. Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep were among those who dressed up last night to honor the career of legendary director Mike Nichols. The women were joined by stars from many of Mike's famous films like Dustin Hoffman, who starred in The Graduate, Emma Thompson, Natalie Portman, and Tom Hanks. Julia took the stage to toast Mike, saying, "Mike is one of the few people in the world who's an 'EGOT' — it means he's won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony." She mingled with Oprah Winfrey afterward to catch up since their last chat about Eat, Pray, Love. Harrison Ford also shared kind words about Mike, but he spent most of the evening cuddling up to longtime love Calista Flockhart. The evening was notable for another reason — John Goodman finally showed off his dramatic weight loss, and he made the rounds chatting with Hollywood veterans like Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty.

She's known to flaunt those famous curves from time to time, but this beach venture called for a little more clothing. Kim spent the week with her usual red carpet routine as she twittered photos of her various activities and gushed about Mason. While Kim is basking in the sun, her former love Reggie Bush is embroiled in some serious scandal with his alma mater USC. In the past he would be right beside Kim in her skimpy two-pieces, though this weekend he probably won't look to her for support as she parties with her girls.
