Natalie Portman put on her latest pregnancy friendly dress yesterday to join her No Strings Attached costar Ashton Kutcher at their press junket in LA. The duo have been all over the city in the last few days, first making a very public appearance with her new engagement ring at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards. Natalie was able to spend some time with family, though, including a casual walk with her mom and dog. The actress opened up during her interviews about both her upcoming movie and her baby with fiancé Benjamin Millepied, exhibiting that she has quite the sense of humor about her recent personal developments. She said:

• On how being pregnant has changed her style: "I was gonna wear a belly shirt today, for example. That option was eliminated."
• On her expectations: "I have no idea what (motherhood) is going to be like so I'll feel it out."
• On how far along she is: "Through my first trimester."
• On future projects she's excited about: "I'm cooking a child."

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were out in Vancouver last night to say hi to Tom Cruise as he shot Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. Tom was looking good in a crisp shirt and suit, and Katie was evidently appreciating his handsomeness — they were spotted sharing a hug and big smiles before she headed back home. Suri and Katie were fresh off an afternoon visit to a supermarket, where they picked up some food and flowers to make their stay in Canada more comfortable. The duo also spent time up North over the Summer while Katie worked on The Kennedys. However, despite Katie's telling Elle that she loved playing Jackie O, it seems we'll never get to see the finished product as The History Channel just announced it won't broadcast the mini-series in the US, though it will air overseas.

Nicole Richie left her LA-area gym on Thursday toting her Hermes and sporting a pair of oversized Chanel shades. The newlywed has been staying true to her workout regimen in recent months, but is also devoting time to her fashion pursuits. Not only does she talk style in the upcoming issue of Lucky, but her latest Winter Kate collection is launching soon. Despite her many projects, Nicole and Joel have also been focused on hanging out with cutie Harlow and their little rocker Sparrow. Harlow is apparently quite talkative these days and she woke up yesterday wanting to tell dad about a friend moving to NYC.

Jon Hamm was the guest of honor at a lunch hosted by Jaeger-LeCoultre at NYC's Lever House on Thursday. The hot Mad Men actor tried on a few of the timepieces, which perfectly complemented his dapper suited look. He's had the afternoon off from working on his big- and small-screen endeavors, though Jon's next film project will be Friends With Kids, written and directed by his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt. Jon, fresh off a low-key holiday season, may have had something extra special to celebrate if rumors about his proposing to Jennifer end up being true.
