Yesterday was Halloween, and Hollywood took advantage of the holiday with parties last night and all weekend long! There were plenty of elaborate costumes at bashes from NYC to Las Vegas, with Britney Spears and Jason Trawick posing with her dressed up sons in London. Jennifer Garner got witchy in LA, where pregnant Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie donned their robber finest. Jessica Simpson may have had the best ensemble of all, wearing a mummy suit to announce that she'll be a mommy and posing with her Larry Byrd fiancé Eric Johnson. Kim Kardashian Issues Full Statement and Denies Being Paid For Wedding: "I’m Sorry If I Have Hurt Anyone"
Kim Kardashian got some serious thinking done during her long flight to Australia, and soon after touching down today, she wrote a full statement to her fans, which she posted on her website. Kim announced her plans to divorce Kris Humphries yesterday, and since then there have been countless stories about what went wrong in their 72-day marriage. Kim's sisters Kourtney and Khloe spoke out in defense of Kim, and her mom, Kris Jenner, defended Kim saying, "She's not the first person in the world to get a divorce or to have something like this happen to, and she won't be the last … People have to stop judging." Kris Humphries meanwhile canceled his plans to host a party in Vegas this weekend. Check out Kim's full statement below and let us know your thoughts on what she wrote. Kim Kardashian's statement reads:
"This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are helping me through this difficult time.
I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it’s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!
Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.

Beyoncé Knowles headed into her Manhattan office building with a smile this afternoon. She was back in one of her regularly stylish ensembles following a fun night of dressing up for Halloween. Beyoncé was a bumblebee for Kanye West's bash at The Darby and covered her bump in an oversize striped suit and bright heels.
The star was just one of many celebrities in costume over the past few days, and even kids got in on the fun with elaborate getups. This time next year, Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, will have their own little one to celebrate the holiday with. If the reported 2,200-square-foot nursery they have in the works is any indication, the baby will have plenty of outfit options too.
Nikki Reed got a lift from husband Paul McDonald as they checked out a street performer in Rome yesterday. She and Paul, who were married in Malibu last month, traveled to Europe for a quick getaway before Nikki started press on Breaking Dawn: Part I overseas. They continued their "minimoon" with an evening out in Italy last night, and the newlyweds were joined by Nikki's costar Jackson Rathbone. Nikki and Jackson hit the red carpet in Spain and again at the Rome Film Festival over the weekend. They'll soon head back to California, where they have a full work schedule ahead of them.
