Blake Lively wore a Georges Chakra wedding dress alongside Penn Badgley on the set of Gossip Girl in NYC today. It looks like there might be two weddings on the final season of Gossip Girl since we saw pictures of Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf getting married in front of the cameras yesterday. Taylor Momsen was also spotted back on set, after being absent from the cast for a few seasons. We'll have to wait for new episodes to find out if Serena and Dan actually tie the knot and until the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings hits newsstands to see photos from Blake's real-life wedding to Ryan Reynolds.
Jennifer Garner stopped by the new Isabel Marant store in Paris with a friend today. She smiled for cameras on her way into the boutique and left with a bag in hand. Jennifer arrived in France with Ben Affleck on Sunday and the duo have already shared multiple romantic outings. Jennifer and Ben showed love while shopping at Chanel yesterday, and later stepped back out for dinner. The duo are in the City of Light as Ben continues press for Argo, which was released in the US last week. He's expected at the London Film Festival in the coming days and the movie will continue to make the rounds, including a stop at UK's Leeds Film Festival on Nov. 1.
Last night's Elle Women in Hollywood bash brought out plenty of stars, including Robert Pattinson. He gave a speech to honor his Bel Ami leading lady Uma Thurman, who stunned on the gray carpet along with Emma Stone, Emma Watson, and Nina Dobrev. We were there to talk with Emma, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Busy Philipps about their work in Hollywood, how they got their starts, and much more. Get the full story in today's PopSugar Rush!
In case you haven't heard the exciting news already, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the 2013 Golden Globe Awards! We can't think of a better duo to take the stage together, so in this episode of The Buzz, BuzzSugar editors Becky Kirsch and Shannon Vestal are making their case for why the women are the perfect pair of emcees. Take a look and then tell us if you agree.
Mitt Romney and Barack Obama just faced off at the town hall presidential debate, and we're here to break it all down with our LIVE postshow! Watch with us LIVE now!
The fun continued inside last night's Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. The ladies stunned on the red carpet, with honorees like Emma Watson and Sarah Jessica Parker donning Calvin Klein, before heading inside the Beverly Hills Four Seasons for a program emceed by Joel McHale. Joel wasn't the only guy on hand — Robert Pattinson presented a statue to Uma Thurman while John Krasinski also stopped by. Uma, Sarah Jessica, and Emma were joined in the winner's circle by other leading ladies like Elle Fanning, Shirley MacLaine, Octavia Spencer, Cate Blanchett, Susan Sarandon, and Kristen Wiig. Octavia had the company of her The Help costars Allison Janney, Emma Stone, and Ahna O'Reilly to celebrate.
We caught up with a number of stars before the show, including Emma. She accepted Elle's honor for the year's biggest breakout star, despite her relatively lengthy career. Emma told us, "I got my start purely by chance. I was 9 years old. I was in a normal school. Someone basically came to school and took my photograph, and picked me up to go to London for an audition. It was complete chance, a very, very lucky situation. I ended up doing nine auditions to get my first big part. I've been incredibly fortunate. Now, really, it's just about trying to take on different parts and broaden out what I'm able to do." Stay tuned for more from the carpet in today's PopSugar Rush.
Will there finally be wedding bells for Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf? It certainly looked that way yesterday as the gang shot an episode of their final season in NYC. Blake Lively was on set with many of her small-screen costars, including Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Wallace Shawn. The final season of Gossip Girl kicked off with a premiere one week ago, and there was even more Upper East Side drama on last night's episode — check out Buzz's biggest OMG moments! The love life of Blake's Serena van der Woodsen is as confusing as ever, but in real life, Blake's perfectly happy with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Ryan even kept Blake company at a recent Chanel bash in NYC, where she showed off her enormous and gorgeous engagement ring.
Robert Pattinson attended Elle's Women in Hollywood last night as one of the few male attendees. He was on hand to honor his Bel Ami leading lady, Uma Thurman. Robert Pattinson sung Uma's praises in the role, saying their director sought "someone more intelligent, more charming, wittier and better in bed than me, which was obviously very difficult to cast." He also joked about being nervous, saying, "I'm learning how to read tonight. I find this terrifying." He didn't need to be worried, since plenty of ladies seemed happy to keep him company. In addition to chatting with Uma, Rob posed for photos with Jaime King and his Twilight pal Anna Kendrick. Rob's real-life leading lady, Kristen Stewart, skipped the event. Kristen and Rob have been hanging out, though, enjoying nights and afternoons out together around town.
Blake Lively flashed her engagement ring today on set in NYC as she continued filming new episodes of Gossip Girl. Joining Blake was Taylor Momsen, who apparently has a part in show's final season, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Blake was also among the cast members on hand yesterday to shoot Chuck and Blair's romantic wedding.
Weddings have been a big deal lately for Blake. Blake planned most of her own nuptials — she and Ryan Reynolds married last month in Mount Pleasant, SC. According to sources close to Blake, she "wanted it to feel just like she was at home." That meant Ryan and Blake had to include their dogs, Penny and Baxter, in the celebration. Details and images of the big day have been highly guarded, but fans will only have to wait to see the soiree in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
